9th Annual Ryan Sheckler Oakley Golf Tournament and Gala
On September 19th, Team Mulch participated in the 9th Annual Ryan Sheckler Oakley Golf Tournament and Gala, where action sports athletes Ryan Sheckler, Chaz Ortiz, Kelly Slater, Rob Machado, Julian Wilson, Clay Hensley (MLB), and NBA All-Star Klay Thompson (part of Mulch California’s golf foursome) were also in attendance.
Sheckler, a longtime friend of co-founders Mehr and Philippe, has given back to the action sports community since 2008, when he established the Sheckler Foundation. Thrilled to support Ryan and his “Be the Change” mission, Mulch headed out to the Del Mar Country Club for a fun day of golf and games, where we were honored to accept the “best dressed” award!
Members of Mulch California’s fierce foursome (comprising of Philippe Zarif, Jeff Ledbetter, Tony Panici, and Klay Thompson) were each custom fitted in the Mulch kualukahi tailored shorts or pants for this special charity event. The watery blue bottoms popped against crisp white polos, bringing Mehr Alejandro’s fresh vision to life. He wanted to showcase the versatility of Mulch California, serving a unique look to each player while still sharing the team vibe.
While it’s all smiles for good style at Mulch California, image isn’t our only concern. Mulch California is rooted in giving back, and fashion is our platform to positively impact our surroundings. The meaning behind Mulch is replenishing the soil’s biodegrading nutrients, and we are also giving back to our community by supporting charities such as the Sheckler foundation.
